Internship overview

We are looking for a talented and motivated Technology Program & PMO intern to support the Product and IT Program Office at Platinium Group. Reporting directly to the Program Director, the intern will assist in the day-to-day coordination and governance of a large-scale, international program.

The role offers hands-on experience within a Project Management Office (PMO) environment and will involve exposure to cross-functional teams, project tracking tools, planning processes, cost management, and business documentation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organized and collaborative individual who is eager to develop their skills in program coordination, project support, and PMO best practices in a fast-paced, global tech environment.

The intern will be under the direct tutoring of the Program Director.

Main tasks & responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of and manage the monthly time tracking process across teams
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, and Team Leads to prepare, maintain, and update PMO dashboards and documentation for large-scale initiatives
  • Coordinate on-duty schedules, vacation calendars, and public holiday planning across teams
  • Maintain and update technical tender and business documentation in both French and English
  • Assist the Program Director with the creation and refinement of process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Support financial tracking, including IT invoice reviews and cost allocations in collaboration with Finance.
  • Oversee the management of IT subscriptions and billing services
  • Contribute to ongoing PMO process improvements, knowledge base updates, and reporting tasks
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Program Director in support of Program and PMO functions

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Business Administration, PMO/Project Management, or Executive Assistance program
  • Familiar with IT and digital product environments, with a strong interest in how tech teams operate globally.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Detail-oriented, autonomous, and capable of handling multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French or other languages are a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, collaborative tools (Confluence, Jira, Slack, etc.) and experience/appetite for automation/IA (ChatGPT, Perpexity, N8N) is a plus
  • A proactive, curious mindset with a strong desire to learn PMO practices and support strategic program goals
