Internship overview

To strengthen our Product team, we are seeking a motivated SEO Manager Intern focused on both Technical SEO and On-site SEO. You will play an integral role in ensuring the online visibility of our ticketshops and especially Gootickets.com, improving organic search performance, and driving traffic to our platform. This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the ever-evolving field of SEO, working on high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment.

Main tasks & responsibilities

  • Technical SEO optimization:
    • Conduct site audits to identify issues with indexing, crawlability, and overall technical health
    • Recommend and implement improvements for site structure, schema markup, and URL architecture
  • On-site SEO: optimize website content, internal linking structures, and metadata for improved rankings and search engine visibility
  • Keyword research: perform in-depth keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimization, new content creation, and long-tail search opportunities
  • SEO strategy execution: assist in defining an SEO roadmap, with the objective of enhancing organic traffic, improving rankings, and ensuring technical compliance with search engine guidelines
  • Performance monitoring:
    • Track key SEO metrics such as rankings, traffic, and conversions
    • Provide regular reporting to multiple departments, analyzing performance trends and identifying optimization opportunities.
  • Cross-department collaboration: work closely with developers, content writers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of SEO best practices into web development and content strategies
  • Competitive analysis: analyze competitors’ SEO strategies, track industry trends, and recommend strategies to improve the company’s organic search presence
  • Report bugs and recommend solutions to enhance websites’ rankings

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Digital Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of technical SEO concepts, including website architecture, page speed optimization, and mobile SEO
  • Familiarity with on-site SEO practices such as keyword optimization, meta tags, content optimization, and structured data
  • Experience using SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Scrapebox and Screaming Frog
  • Analytical mindset with strong proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Data Studio, and Excel
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Collaborative and eager to work with cross-functional teams, including developers, marketers, product managers and content writers
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word); Google docs, etc.
  • A good functional understanding of Html, CSS, Javascript and website administration
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages (e.g., French) are a plus
