Job overview

In order to further strengthen our Travel & Conciergerie, we are looking for an experienced Travel Agent to:

  • Manage all steps related to each travel’s request for our international clientele (business and / or personal travels)
  • Acquire new clients
  • Cultivate existing client’s portfolio
  • Keep billing process as per standards set by our accounting department
  • Implement new practices and contribute to Monte Carlo Travel’s evolution
Main tasks & responsibilities
  • Help customers find a suitable package holiday or plan independent travel
  • Sell on a daily base all sort of travels from flights, accommodation, ground transportation to vacation packages using Amadeus booking system and other tools
  • Identify hotels and negotiate prices in order to offer the right product(s) to customers traveling abroad
  • Negotiate rates, conditions with partners, book outs, compensations and cancellation charges when needed
  • Imagine and invent new formulas and leisure agendas
  • Handle Platinium Group’s employees’ travels 
  • Inform customers of changes, arrange refunds and handle complaints
  • Prospect, create and finalize barters or partnerships with sponsors and/or partners
  • Advise customers about passports, insurance, visas, necessary vaccinations
  • Handle general administrative tasks
  • Ensure sales targets are met
  • Keep up to date about developments in the travel industry

Requirements

  • A significant experience within travel/hospitality industry, luxury concierge and ticketing
  • Knowledge of luxury hotel groups
  • Experience with top VIP and international clientele
  • Fluent written and spoken French and English (multilingualism is a plus)
  • Excellent proficiency of Amadeus Air-Hotel-Car rental is essential (Air: reservation, pricing, issuance, modification, refund, profiles)
  • Proficiency in IGA
  • Mastery of B&B websites
  • Familiarity with new technologies and market trends in the travel industry
  • Negotiation skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication, strong analytical skills, and active listening
  • Attention to detail and guest-oriented
  • Organized, responsive, and proactive
  • Flexible and versatile
